Radio Experience

I produced over 195 stories for BYUradio’s Top of Mind with Julie Rose, a nationally syndicated and professionally hosted, live, daily interview radio program as heard on Sirius XM 143. Top of Mind cover current events, health, entertainment, science, and technology.

Environmental Science Major

In the ESci program, I learned extensively about the interaction of biotic and abiotic factors in ecosystems and nutrient cycles in aquatic and terrestrial systems–both in the classroom and the lab. My program included a semester working under Dr. Aanderud to develop a way to harness methane from waste streams with the help of microbes.

Climate Advocacy

I am a co-state coordinator in Utah with Citizens’ Climate Lobby. We work to build the political will for federal climate action, specifically we hope to pass the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act for a cleaner future. Learn about our bill here, and, if you are interested, you can join here. I am also a social media intern with the Mormon Environmental Stewardship Alliance (MESA), where we hope to educate members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints about the importance of personal stewardship and political action.
